What you’ll do

• Coordinate and grow the Animal Agriculture sustainability services portfolio
• Work closely with our clients, team members, and external parties to advance sustainability initiatives
• Develop and implement environmental sustainability programs for animal agriculture clients
• Stay up-to-date with emerging opportunities in eco-friendly livestock management
• Assist clients in adopting practices that reduce their environmental footprint

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years relevant experience in agriculture, business or a science related field
• Experience with the beef cattle sector in North America
• Knowledge of sustainable livestock management practices that reduce greenhouse gas emissions
• Understanding of environmental offset mechanisms and their application in agriculture
• Ability to think critically with strong organization and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for solving problems and analyzing data
• Valid passport and willingness to travel throughout Canada & the United States

Great-to-have

• Knowledge of economics in agriculture
• Strong interest and experience in sustainable beef production
• Experience with environmental certification processes and standards in agriculture
• Understanding of emissions trading systems and environmental regulations
• Knowledge of ecosystem services valuation in animal agriculture
• Ability to analyze and interpret data related to emissions reduction in livestock operations
• PAg or C.PAg designation
