As a Supervisor, General Business Services, you will play a crucial role in providing support for the print services department, including but not limited to supervising production, processes and administrative activities. Your responsibilities will also include looking for ways to optimize our digital storefront, job ticketing management and product development. An eye for improvement opportunities with the ability to address sophisticated problems are keys to success!

Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Prepares time and cost estimates; coordinates the scheduling of print, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Monitors and maintains Electronics for Imaging digital storefront website
  • Maintains print file repository, versioning and job parameters to facilitate customer access to accurate data and forms; facilitates monthly invoicing and reporting
  • Handles and evaluates providers to ensure supplies, equipment, external capacity and capabilities are available to meet enterprise needs
  • Ensures equipment maintenance and safe operation align with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

  • Required: Vocational/Technical/Business school
  • Preferred: Associate's degree in graphic arts, business management or related major with a minimum five (5) years' experience in running all phases of print operations

Other Requirements:

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and PC Skills
  • Knowledge of Adobe Software, Microsoft programs.
  • Extensive customer service experience for providing quality print products in a timely manner
  • Ability to troubleshoot file programs, equipment malfunctions and tight timelines

Additional Description:

  • Supervises mail center staff and reviews and monitors budget/financials
  • Monitors and assists with daily work processes including mail and parcel sorting and distribution, fulfillment and post-processing of department mailings
  • Supervises the daily processing of freight, express and ground freight shipments
