Meaningful Work From Day One
In this role, you'll be responsible for inventory replenishment planning and administrative support for international markets, gaining exposure to supply planning while providing crucial assistance for global shipment processes. Responsibilities include managing supply chain inventory planning, coordinating with freight forwarders and shipping partners, and conducting administrative tasks as needed. You'll also manage inventory levels, communicate with demand planners, and ensure inventory reporting accuracy.
What You Can Expect
-
Create/update appropriate shipping documentation for freight forwarders and customs clearance in international markets. Work with plants and shipping partners to ensure all paperwork is accurate and timely. Investigate and remedy any errors and/or discrepancies.

Evaluate demand plans vs. actual activity, plan inventory replenishments to international distribution warehouses that meet supply chain goals and provide updated supply requirements to assigned production facilities and suppliers.

Maintain the inventory planning model which includes SKU maintenance, parameter maintenance, and network maintenance.

Measure and report inventory actual balances vs. targets. Report corrective action taken to alleviate out-of-tolerance conditions. Manage deployment of short-supply materials.

Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning process for the purpose of:

reporting aged and un-saleable inventory, obsolete and/or de-listed materials to reach consensus on disposition

planning re-packs as required
-
planning deployment of short supply materials
-
re-defining inventory planning parameters
-
resolving other inventory exceptions and supply constraints
-
Conduct operational analyses as requested by the Manager of USA&C Supply Planning.
What You Bring to the Table
-
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 - 4 years planning or related business experience; or 4 - 6 years of combined education and experience.

Demonstrated ability to understand and apply standard analytical concepts and inventory planning methodology.

Basic understanding of inventory planning processes and how inventory planning supports the supply chain effort.

Problem-solving skills with a heavy emphasis placed on the ability to diagnose and solve problems.
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with a broad range of business associates. -
Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and complete work with speed and accuracy within established timeframes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to perform and adapt in a rapidly changing environment as necessary.

Ability and willingness to travel 5-10% of the time.
