As part of a hardworking team of doers, the Supply Chain Project Manager will ensure operational excellence and process compliance within New Glenn Operations. They will assist operations and supply chain management in resolving significant issues with potential business-wide impact by collaborating cross functionally with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain Program Management and Procurement. Additionally, reporting key supplier progress to operational initiatives at executive reviews with senior-level leadership, both internally and externally, is also part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Accountability Oversight: Ensure all supply chain teams, including procurement, supply chain engineering, transportation, fulfillment, supplier relationships, and international suppliers, adhere to their strategies and deliverables.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with supply chain teams to align their strategies with overarching business goals, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in execution.
  • Worldclass Documentation Skills: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and written reports that clearly convey strategic objectives, operational procedures, and performance metrics.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and implement performance monitoring systems to track the effectiveness and compliance of supply chain activities across teams.
  • Structured Reviews: Organize and structure periodic cadence for the VP, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews, ensuring informed decision-making and timely follow-up actions.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to identify and implement process improvements across supply chain operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
  • Fast Learner: strong ambition to grow and curious to learn ideal flow path across supply chain, along with ability deep dive into problems with minimal expertise and investigate the root causes
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration between supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of strategies and operations, promoting a unified approach to achieving business objectives.
  • AI and Automation Solutions: Identify opportunities to integrate AI and automation solutions within supply chain processes and collaborate with internal and external teams to execute these initiatives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide detailed reports and analyses to senior leadership, offering insights into supply chain performance and recommending strategic adjustments as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with 8-10 years of direct experience OR 12+ years in supply chain management, focusing on capacity planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain strategy and management
  • Strong writing skills at an executive level.  
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion 
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent
  • Experience with ERP systems


 

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $120,850.00-$169,189.65

  • Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification, Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
