The Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) for Cytiva Cologne is responsible for managing and continuously improve the entire supply chain, starting from procurement and ending with the support of shipments.

This position is part of the Operations Team located in Cologne and will be onsite. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Be in charge of the supply chain organization on Cologne`s site and logistics related operation & being involved in the projects to optimize the current processes.

• End to end procurement activities from creating purchase orders till marking goods/ services as received on iProcurement.

• Coordinate ordering of stocks from suppliers to ensure timely availability and proper stocks allocation; manage subcontractor communication and coordinate paperwork.

• End to end order management from receipt of purchase order till arrival at customer site; manage inventory of finished goods and raw materials.

• Organize outgoing shipments of research material to customer 

• Review existing operations procedure and identify possible areas for improvement.

Who you are:

• Bachelor`s or master’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, IT, or Business.

• Minimum 5 years of experience from working with sourcing/ procurement/ customer service/ logistics role.

• Knowledge of supply chain that include drop ship models, export, transportation, and import and export terminology. Know how about the import of biological substances is a plus

• Motivated to build a supply chain system from current semi-manual processes to fit into the bigger Cytiva organization

• Project management and change management experience.

• Fluent in English & German written and spoken; strong communication skills.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in Oracle or related application such as SAP.

• Experience of working in the field of Life Science industry logistics.
