We are looking for trainees for our European Supply Chain Center of Excellence in Barcelona, we would like to invite you to participate in our selection process for the Procurement & Planning teams.
As a Procurement Trainee you will learn and understand our business, our people and purpose: what we do & why it matters. You will support a major Total Delivered Cost (TDC) optimization project within the Procurement Sourcing team. Our Sourcing teams deal with a great deal of complexity in terms of supplier matrix, items sourced, spend and interaction with the different stakeholders. The role will involve being exposed both internally with the main stakeholders of procurement and externally with suppliers.
As a Planning Trainee you will learn and understand our business, our people and purpose: what we do & why it matters. support the analysis of forecasts and production planning estimates in the different planning teams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delivering standard reports & analysis in a timely manner.
- Managing further requests from our stakeholders to build better reports for the business, which can often involve linking different data sources / reports together
- Build new reports and participate in different continues improvement project (European and locally)
- Assist in daily operations lead by Procurement Representives
You are the ideal candidate for this role, if you:
- Are currently studying / just finished studies on industrial engineering, master’s degree in Procurement or Supply Chain related studies.
- Have a strong command of English language (spoken & written)
- Use Microsoft Office, especially Excel confidently (complex formulas, pivoting, etc.), Access knowledge is a strong plus
- Have a strong sense of responsibility, customer-oriented mindset, and you have no problems to meet strict deadlines
- Have the ambition to “walk that extra mile”, and open for intellectual challenges
- Being familiar with ERP systems (SAP), macros (VBA), data visualization tools (PowerBI)
- Team spirit and great collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and influencing skills.
- Ability to work in complex and international environments.
- Are willing to work with us from 6 to 12 months.
- This position is to start in June 2025 based in Barcelona
