As a Supply Chain Analyst supporting the global execution of the Unity S&OP business cycle, you will be responsible for long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals; a typical day will include:
- Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns.
- Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
- Aid in the creation of global demand and/or supply review presentation decks.
- Collaborate with Regional S&OP teams to understand unique market requirements and identify root cause of Affiliate service issues.
- Work with plant material teams and align global supply planning results and determine relevant manufacturing.
- Communicate global demand and supply planning results constraints.
- Oversee global order management and allocation with regional S&OP teams to resolve large or abnormal orders while still striving to meet operational and customer excellence.
- Acquire and analyze information regarding historical data, market trends, promotional activity and other events.
- Share insights, challenge assumptions and identify drivers of variance in the monthly forecast.
- Analyze, report and improve forecast accuracy both at the detail and aggregate level to improve customer service and inventory levels.
- Facilitate the Unity Sales & Operations Planning by supporting a monthly consensus and demand review meeting with country and regional management.
- Ensure optimal balance between customer service levels and inventory asset utilization through the S&OP process.
- Supports lifecycle management projects and operations.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 2 Years of Relevant Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Data Analytics background
- Medtek or CPG would be a good background
