Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level Supply Base Management Specialist to join our Air Dominance Proprietary Supply Chain team in Berkeley, MO. The Supply Base Management Specialist will be joining a high-performing, cross-functional team building next generation, state-of-the-art capability while supporting the integration of program, customer, product, and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies, to drive successful execution of the program.
The successful candidate will support supply chain strategies working to understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, and the anticipated impact on the Supply Chain and Program. Will also interact with other Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Program personnel to support strategic initiatives, risk mitigation, process improvements and many other innovative activities for the Program.
Position Responsibilities:
- Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
- Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies
- Analyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunities
- Develops mitigation plans
- Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities
- Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- 3+ years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment
- 3+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Experience working in operations and/or materials management
- 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification

Summary pay range: $88,400 – $109,200
