OVERVIEW:
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Research, identify and communicate supplier opportunities to merchandise buyers and non-merchandise category managers. Increase both the inclusion of all varieties of suppliers within RFPs and onboarding of suppliers through business award. Support event management for the program and research opportunities and participate in events that will connect suppliers to DSG teammates.

Track and report on suppliers in the DSG vendor base. Validate certifications held by suppliers and document within the ERP system. Support the reporting process with the 3rd party reporting partner.

Lead Category Sourcing meetings and, where applicable, stakeholder meetings, in partnership with Non-Merchandise tiered suppliers to completion of Supplier’s Performance Scorecard.

Coordinate and lead recurring business review meetings with Non-Merchandise tiered suppliers. Engage with Sourcing and contract owners to identify corrective action that need to be taken to better the relationship.

Monitor supplier relationship/financial/performance risks. Communicate possible risk for use during negotiations and/or as part of the company’s risk mitigation strategy through reporting and meetings.

Develop and maintain solid working relationships with Procurement and Business/contract owners to proactively address and resolve vendor related issues that impact various departments/functions.

Assist in the development and provide Manager with a defined and documented Non-Merchandise Supplier Relationship Management annual score-carding plan.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement or Business-related Field

3 - 5 years' experience with Supplier Relationship Management, Purchasing, ERP systems, Operational Procurement
