This position is hybrid to our Tulsa, OK office.

Job Profile Summary
The FERC reporting supervisor will provide oversight over the group responsible for preparing quarterly and annual financial statement filing requirements of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) related to ONEOK's interstate natural gas pipelines. The supervisor will also be responsible for certain intrastate natural gas pipeline filing requirements with the respective state regulatory agencies. The supervisor will also be responsible for mentoring, coaching, and developing the FERC reporting team members to deliver high standards of service, quality, and value to achieve desired business results.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field with previous accounting or FERC reporting experience

Work Experience

  • Experience with preparation of financial statements

  • Proficient in utilizing Workiva and Excel

  • Experience in applying accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP

  • Experience with utilizing the FERC chart of accounts and preparing FERC filings

  • Experience developing and conducting formal presentations on cash management training, credit card processes and management approval authority

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of: general accounting and/or cash management functions

  • Knowledge of: Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) classification of accounts

  • Knowledge of: Workiva and proficient in utilizing excel

  • Ability to: apply basic math and algebra

  • Ability to: interact, adapt, and communicate effectively

  • Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information; and conduct oral presentations

Licenses and Certifications

  • CPA License Preferred
