Job Title: Substation Design Engineer
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Salary Range / Rate (Currency): $130k to $138k
Key Responsibilities
- Design reliable, cost-effective substation physical and control systems independently.
- Manage multiple substation projects, coordinate with consultants, and ensure timely, quality deliverables.
- Support construction efforts, including job site inspections and coordination.
- Provide technical guidance for solving complex design challenges.
- Deliver accurate cost estimates and input for project schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- PE license preferred; if not, Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience is required.
- Expertise in substation/control engineering principles, cost control, budgeting, and project management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
