As a Strategic Sourcing Capital Buyer at Mars you will be accountable for supporting execution of capital investment projects in your geographical scope of responsibility, in line with the capital strategies and processes, maintaining high level of partnering with stakeholders to deliver value to Mars and timely completion of business goals.
This includes but is not limited to understanding key market/regional drivers and key suppliers, contract negotiations, obtaining contract approvals, forecasting, managing supplier relationships, delivering improvements in areas such as cost, cash, quality, and service, as well as capturing and reporting any corresponding savings opportunities.
What are we looking for?

Indirect procurement/ Indirect buying and/or engineering experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

A passion for developing strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders both domestically and internationally.
What will be your key responsibilities?

Connect with the engineering teams to understand sourcing needs for the upcoming capital projects.

Execute contracting and ordering of goods and services in line with the global and regional sourcing strategies and commercial processes.

Deliver value to Mars in terms of savings, cash, innovation, sustainability, speed to the market, simplification, etc and report any opportunities in Sievo

Cooperate with other Capital Buyers to look for synergies and opportunities to improve and facilitate sourcing

Supporting sites in the UK and Hungary
