Job Description:

   

We are looking for a Storage Sales Specialist for our Data Services Team Switzerland, assigned to our Swiss Romande Sales Team. Data Services and the underlying Storage Solution are a key investment area for HPE. Over the past years we have invested significantly into R&D and acquisitions for new technologies enabling a software-driven, cloud-operated portfolio based on modern cloud-native platforms and integrated cloud-enabled Data Services. Our portfolio doesn’t stop in the Data Center but provide hybrid solution that span from Edge-to-Cloud.

All integrated with HPE’s Compute, Networking and Workload solution via the unique HPE GreenLake Cloud Platform. And the journey has only started with more innovation to come.

To bring these benefits to even more customers, we are expanding our Storage salesforce in Switzerland. We are looking for dynamic technology sellers with a hunter mindset and a winning attitude.

As a Storage Sales Specialist, you:

  • Engage daily with existing and new customers, both independently and in close collaboration with HPE’s channel partners, supported by technical solution architects.
  • Leverage HPE’s marketing engine and collaborate with channel partners to identify new target accounts, building initiatives to attract new customers for HPE Storage Solutions.
  • Build and manage a well-founded, long-term pipeline to increase HPE’s market share in the Swiss market.
  • Challenge the customer’s status quo, focusing on business outcomes to position HPE’s Storage and Data Services solution portfolio as a key element of their hybrid cloud and digitization strategy.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the end customer's business drivers to translate their requirements into sustainable HPE business solutions through a comprehensive consulting approach at all levels.
  • Foster and expand existing relationships while developing new connections with technical stakeholders at customer organizations and channel partners to increase mindshare and expand HPE’s footprint.
  • Lead projects across the entire lifecycle, from initial contact and proof of concept (PoC) stages to preparing and responding to tenders, conducting negotiations, and finalizing contracts as the lead.

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…

  • Academic degree in business administration or similar
  • +5 years of sales experience with a demonstrated history of working in the Swiss IT industry
  • Very good knowledge of Suisse Romande IT landscape and its related topics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
  • Solution selling oriented with a consultative approach; understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions in storage, data protection, hybrid cloud, and as-a-service models
  • Proven ability to apply challenge selling techniques by reframing customer perspectives to drive value-based decisions
  • Reliability in building a sales pipeline, forecasting, and customer management
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills to address customer challenges effectively
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and affinity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Business fluency in French and English
