Job Description:

Location: Wrocław or remote from Poland

As a Statutory Accountant, you will be a key member of the COE (Centre of Excellence) team in Poland supporting the Nordics entities. You will be working in close collaboration with the country lead, tax teams, and colleagues from different countries, so excellent English language is a must. The role is fully remote, with potential team meeting (quarterly at most), so a very good independence, self-motivation is essential.

The candidate will collaborate on the preparation of financial statement and any financial analysis as part of the team and under the local controller.

Key responsibilities:

• preparing recurring entries (accrual, posting of local bank entries)
• month end report and download of data
• preparing set of financial for national statistic reporting to local government bodies
• analysis and queries variances during monthly, quarterly and annual reviews
• respond to audit queries
• investigation of anomaly or unusual entries
• Use of SAP and peripheric systems

Knowledge and Skills required:

• Fluent English
• At least 2 years experience in any accountancy role
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Good analytical skills
• Very good Microsoft Excel
• Good communication skills and superior teamwork skills
• Qualification in accountancy
