Join our team at Micron as a Test Platform Development Engineer in the Non-Volatile Engineering (NVEG) Product Engineer team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced hardware for testing and characterizing NAND and System Micron products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, bring up, test, validate, and release to manufacturing sophisticated electronic systems and modules based on product marketing requirements and on new memory technologies
- Craft such electronics systems and modules by following standard processes for signal and power integrity as well as mechanical and thermal design and implementation
- Develop and execute test and validation plans, reviewing designs of major sub-assemblies to ensure a single prototype for the final system/module revision.
- Support product certification activities, NPI, production, and manufacturing, including product transfer from Engineering to manufacturing and materials procurement.
- Work with external customers, distributors, vendors, or suppliers to initiate new designs and tackle problems.
- Lead all aspects of the placement, layout, and fabrication of the systems and modules
Qualifications:
Selected applicants for this exciting opportunity will have:
- A Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent experience in Electronics Engineering with 10+ Years of hardware board design experience.
- Experienced in working end to end of a product cycle in hardware design including hardware architect, circuit design, Debugging, Manufacturing, and assembling.
- Proven knowledge and extensive experience developing systems based on the different High-speed interfaces like PCIE, DDR, ONFI, UFS, etc., and have worked on different communication protocols like I2C, I3C, SPI, UART, USB, JTAG, etc.,
- Proven forward-thinking person with the ability to inspire change and to influence and build consensus with highly technical teams and senior leadership
- Good understanding of High-speed board design, SI and PI concepts, well experienced in system bring-up, characterization, and debugging as well as knowledge of laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic and protocol analyzers.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Cadence HDL, Allegro PCB
- Demonstrate good social skills
Education:
- Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering
- Course work in VLSI, semiconductor process, and Programming languages is desirable, but not required
