Job Description
Provides project management and analytical support in the areas of finance, workforce management, marketing, systems, and operations.
Experience
- 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Broad-based experience in generally known project management software and commercially available healthcare and business software packages
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business or Health Administration
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field

- Must be able to demonstrate well-developed and proven organizational and analytical skills
- Must be able to demonstrate project management, customer service, and support skills
- Must be able to function in a dynamic environment subject to impromptu changes in schedules and priorities
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to interact positively and productively with a variety of personnel within the hospital, including administrative staff and physicians
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Required in clinical areas: Must be able to successfully pass the Basic Windows Skill Assessment at 80% or higher rating within 30 days of employment
Job Responsibilities
- Prepares financial, human capital, and market analyses and recommendations for existing and proposed services specifically relating to float-pool performance.
- Monitors operating and restricted fund expenditures, including payroll and expenses for float pool staff.
- Provides explanations for variances and proposes corrective actions.
- Prepares budgets for operating and restricted funds.
- May provide system support/management, including applications software support, system upgrade coordination, system implementation coordination, serving as a liaison to vendors, and/or providing education/training to system users.
- Coordinates and leads operations-based projects relating to supplemental staffing and nursing leadership initiatives.
