We're looking for an experienced Technical Engineering Operations Manager to join our Program Management & Engineering Operations team. Reporting to the Director of Engineering Effectiveness, you'll be responsible for:
- Designing, documenting, and implementing end-to-end SDLC processes that align with industry best practices and company objectives.
- Architecting workflows between engineering and cross-functional teams (Product Management, Legal, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales).
- Leading the design and implementation of our Atlassian product suite (Jira Data Center, Confluence, and Marketplace add-ons) including workflows, custom fields, and automation rules.
- Developing comprehensive dashboards and reporting solutions to provide visibility into engineering metrics and team performance. Developing and executing change management strategies for new process and tool implementations.
- Creating and delivering training programs for engineering teams and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications):
- 8+ years of experience in engineering operations, technical program management, or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Extensive experience with Jira Data Center and Confluence administration.
- Proven track record of implementing and optimizing engineering processes.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in enterprise-grade transformation within the engineering team of a SaaS company, as well as experience with data analysis and visualization capabilities.
- Experience maintaining and optimizing integrations between engineering tools and other business systems (e.g. Google product suite, Salesforce Salescloud, etc.).
- Experience in designing and implement quality gates, design and architecture review processes, and release management procedures.
This is a hybrid role that can sit in either our San Jose, CA or Bellevue, WA office.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
Base Pay Range
$136,500—$195,000 USD
