Job Description

As a Staff Software Engineer - Process Automation, specializing in process automation, you will be an advanced level individual contributor with deep specialized knowledge in business process automation. You will work cross-functionally across multiple complex automation technology projects and may lead the analysis, design and development of business process automations through the automation life-cycle. Through your extensive technical knowledge and experience, you will manage complex automation projects and processes, frequently overseeing the work of automation developers, performing code reviews, and ensuring that deployed automations follow established best practices. You will interact directly with business process owners and Subject Matter experts to develop Solution designs and ensure post-deployment maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee complex automation technology initiatives and processes.
  • Lead new automation development initiatives using deep technical expertise.
  • Gather information from multiple teams to analyze and understand difficult problems when multiple related issues and specialties arise within a specific technology field.
  • Develop and implement technology solutions and moderate improvements to existing products, processes workflows, and programs.  
  • Frequently communicate with internal business process owners, subject matter experts and external contractors and vendors.  Scheduling and reviewing PDD and SDD documents.
  • Work to influence across the team and organization to accept technology processes or products, utilizing deep technical expertise.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other automation engineers within the unit.
  • Commonly lead project teams in areas of expertise. Specifically in the areas of Automation Anywhere Ai framework 360, and automation development life cycle.
  • Analyze and understand complex business problems involving multiple related issues and specialties within a specific business units. Engage Ai and automation to reduce manual efforts, increase business opportunities, and quality improvements,
  • Act as the technology expert in the Center of Automation development from idea submission to post-deployment support.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of workflow and process automation including RPA and incorporating Ai – LLM and Co-pilot usage for attended and unattended bots.
  • Requires a university degree or certification and significant technical experience; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Significant technical experience in the relevant field. Specifically with Automation Anywhere 360, Utilizing LLMs, or introducing Ai into the automation process to gain cost savings or increase business opportunities.
  • Technical experience designing medium to large-scale automations within the Anywhere 360 framework; or other similar experience using similar frameworks.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Benefits may vary based on the job, full-time or part-time schedule, location, and collectively bargained status.

The salary range for this position is:

131,500.00 - 219,100.00 USD Annual

The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
