Scope:
- Core responsibilities include System Design, Backend development using Java and Spring Boot framework, and front-end web pages using React JS.
- Ownership of multiple modules in the product
Our current technical environment:
- Software: Rest API, Spring Boot, Java, RDBMS, React JS, Java Script, HTML, CSS,
- Frameworks/Others: Material UI, Spring Boot, GIT, RDBMS, Oracle
What you’ll do:
- Strong Technical Expertise on System Design
- Experience in architecting the Web Applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks
- Development using Java, Microservices, React JS
- Drives/Leads the development, performs the code reviews
- Technical ownership of modules and ensuring code quality
- Learns and adapts to applicable technologies, products, and tools
- Demonstrates good understanding of relevant domain and solutions
- Demonstrates good understanding of the product
- Develops in depth knowledge on the product
- Understands and analyzes business requirements and designs provided
- Lead technical design
- Experience in CI/CD and take up responsibilities as demands on DevOps.
- Ownership of product’s technical security
- Develops and executes Unit Tests
- Follows standard processes and procedures
- Identifies and resolves software bugs
- Tests and integrates with other development tasks
- Demonstrates problem solving and innovation ability
- Proactively picks up development and maintenance tasks
- Proactively reports all activities to the reporting managers
- Proactively seeks or helps as required
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10-14 years of experience in Product Development.
- Experience in Enterprise application Development using Spring Boot and Java.
- Experience in Java and J2EE technologies with excellent understanding of OOPS concepts and Design Patterns.
- Experience in Microservices development using Spring Boot framework
- Excellent knowledge on Relational Databases like Oracle
- Knowledge on REST architectural styles
- Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Tools like JIRA/Git/Jenkins and Continuous Integration.
- Working experience in security vulnerabilities fixing in static/dynamic code analysis.
- Excellent Problem Solving and Trouble shooting skills
- High levels of ownership and commitment on deliverable
- Experience in Agile Development Methodology

The Anglian Water's @one Alliance is a partnership consisting of 8 companies, who each provide specialised knowledge allowing the @one Alliance to deliver complex delivery projects in the most efficient way, reducing the cost to Anglian Water’s customers.
Within @one Alliance we’ve currently embarked on a huge programme of work costing a massive £1.2 billion. We’ve entered year 5 of our current 5-year Asset Management Period (AMP7) meaning we’re full steam ahead in delivering around 50% of Anglian Water’s capital delivery projects.
