Staff Data Scientist at a glance
As a technical leader, you will design, develop, and implement machine vision inspection systems to detect quality-related issues with our products. You will work on early-stage computer vision projects across multiple product areas, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-impact results.

- Lead the development of computer vision inspection systems using machine learning and deep learning techniques to detect quality-related issues with products.
- Design and implement machine vision algorithms using YOLO, OpenCV, and other relevant libraries to analyze images and videos from various camera systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for computer vision applications and deliver solutions that create business value.
- Develop and deploy models using Python, with a focus on model interpretability, scalability, and performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision systems with existing manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Engineer new features and experiment with various modeling approaches to develop cutting-edge computer vision products.

- I have hands-on experience in computer vision or a related field.
- I have demonstrated expertise in implementing machine learning and deep learning algorithms using Python and relevant libraries (e.g., YOLO, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- I am proficient in computer vision techniques, including object detection, image classification, segmentation, and tracking.
- I have experience with image and video processing, including data augmentation and preprocessing.
- I have a strong understanding of hardware and edge device considerations, including camera systems, lighting, and sensor integration.
- I have experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that have a measurable business impact.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$118,400.00 - $148,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
