What You’ll Do:
We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team and help maintain accurate financial records, assist in financial reporting, and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. This role is perfect for someone who loves numbers, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare and post journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Assist in compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Identify process improvements to streamline accounting operations.
- Other accounting duties and special projects as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience: 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills

The estimated base salary range for this role is $65,000-75,000/year in addition to an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all of these factors. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
