We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team, responsible for accurately recording financial transactions, maintaining the general ledger, responsible for the accurate and timely performance of various assigned functions in support of the month-end close process, balance sheet, and accounts receivable reconciliations and preparing financial reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role is hybrid in office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote Thursday and Friday.

How You'll Shine:

• Perform the monthly general ledger close process to stay within the timelines of the Corporate close schedule.  Ensure financial statements are presented in accordance with GAAP and appropriate financial variance analyses is provided timely to management and assigned business units.  Participate in financial review meetings. Timely and accurate preparation and review of assigned balance sheet reconciliations and schedules

• Provide process enhancement support for Manager of Accounting.  Assist with analysis of key balance sheet accounts, P&L Forecasts and Budgets.   Assist Manager of Accounting in evidencing key controls and provide audit support as needed.

• Transaction research and resolution in a timely and efficient fashion. Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• Analytical Skills and Attention to Detail                         

• Sense of urgency and ability to multi-task

• Proven Internal/external partnership skills         

• Written/verbal Communication skills

• Self-Motivated, demonstrate initiative and flexibility

• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills

• Able to adapt to diverse cultural base. Team oriented             

• Working experience in Oracle, PeopleSoft and RCC preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Access). Intermediate to advance in Excel.
