Join our dynamic team as a Staff Accountant, where you will play a pivotal role in financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting functions for our clients. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in both financial analysis and client-facing interactions, helping businesses understand their financial health and make informed decisions.
As a Staff Accountant, you will develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting. You will be responsible for budgeting, expense tracking, and financial analysis, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to provide top-tier financial support.
Responsibilities
Client Empowerment & Financial Guidance
- Guide clients in creating annual budgets, analyzing historical data to forecast financial performance.
- Assist clients in expense tracking and monthly contributions to enhance financial planning.
- Work directly with client management teams to interpret financial data and provide strategic financial insights.
- Conduct two business review meetings per year with each client to discuss financial performance, budgets, and upcoming projects.
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform general ledger management, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely invoicing and payment processing by collaborating with the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams.
- Maintain financial records and compliance standards (GAAP/IFRS).
Collaboration & Internal Communication
- Work closely with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams through daily collaboration and team meetings.
- Develop and present financial reports to internal and external stakeholders for analysis and decision-making.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with internal departments to streamline financial processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 1-3 years’ experience in public accounting, corporate finance, or an equivalent role
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and bookkeeping principles
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to clients
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients

Salary Range Disclosure
The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.
Salary Range
US Remote: $40,000 - $44,000 USD per year
