As our SRE specialist, you will be responsible for supporting global customers who use Huawei Cloud services, contributing package installations, configuration files changing, helping log analyses, issue escalating, customer support and incidents response. You’ll be working closely with other SRE teams and customers.
You will have the opportunity to work on high growth cloud platforms and grow in the role and define your own path to success. You will be able to work autonomously and use your own initiative to proactively drive success for global customers. The role will involve working in close collaboration with the engineering teams. High knowledge will be gain for Huawei Cloud Services which are popular globally.
The ideal candidate has a solid background in Cloud Services, Development, Analytical Approach and strategically thinks and is comfortable working across various platforms and systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Locate customer problems.
- Assist customer to increase product reliability.
- Working closely with HQ members and interfaces.
- Help reliability team to solve customer’s problems.
- Work closely with technical support team for troubleshooting
- Make a close follow-up with engineering team.
- Responding to incidents timely.
- Usually communication as on-call responsibilities
- Experience working with basic Linux commands.
- Experience with Version Control Tools.
- Experience with Monitoring tools (Grafana,Zabix.).
- Basic knowledge of general concepts of Huawei Cloud, IBM cloud, Azure or Google cloud
- Basic knowledge of general concepts of DevOps (Test, Deploy, Docker, Kubernates, Build or Yaml scripting) plus
- Experience with Kafka, Redis, API Gateway, Performance monitoring tools, Function Graph or Lambda, Event Grid plus
- Experience with cloud services deployment plus.
- Experience with POC (proof of concept) or prepare learning materials plus.
- Excellent problem solver with good analytical skills
- Experience working in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Openness to learning new tech and new products
- Attention to details and ability to multi-task
- Fluency in English
- Experience with Operating System (Linux / Windows).
- Experience with Scripting languages (Python, Bash, SED, Awk or Gawk)
