About the Role
In this opportunity as a Sr. UX Engineer - Front End, you will
- Design, write, and maintain high-quality, semantic HTML, CSS, and SCSS code, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and scalability across various devices and browsers.
- Develop scalable, accessible, and responsive UI components, leveraging AI-driven tools such as GitHub Copilot, AI-LLMs, agentic AI and prompt building to streamline design and development processes.
- Consult and collaborate with designers, software engineers, content strategists, accessibility specialists, UX researchers and project leaders to co-create innovative solutions and integrate AI-powered design tools and technologies into our products, ensuring a cohesive and user-centered experience.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes for UX research testing, utilizing industry-leading tools and AI-driven design platforms.
- Translate complex design languages into reusable code libraries, leveraging AI-powered code generation and review tools.
- Develop and maintain scalable and accessible layouts that adhere to our brand and animation standards, utilizing AI-driven design systems and tools.
- Communicate effectively with development teams, justifying and articulating development decisions during code reviews, and leading brainstorming sessions with product teams.
About You
You’re a fit for the role ofSr. UX Engineer - Front End, if your background includes
- 5+ years of experience developing large-scale, complex front-end web applications, with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in user-centered design and front-end development.
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of web standards and accessibility (W3C and WCAG 2.1 AA), interaction design, and user-centered design principles.
- Proficiency in Web Components, React, and Angular frameworks, with experience in AI-driven design and development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and prompt building.
- Strong proficiency in Web standards, accessibility, CSS-driven layouts, and manipulating the DOM, with experience in AI-powered design systems and tools.
- Ability to create production-quality CSS, SASS, HTML, and JavaScript for large, complex web applications, with support for mobile and tablet devices.
- Experience with Agile development environments, version control software, and design tokens.
- Extensive knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SASS, with experience in AI-driven design and development tools.
- Experience developing for mobile and tablet devices, with a strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility principles.
- Ability to follow technical specifications and production processes, with experience in AI-powered design systems and tools.
- Ability to create and update design tokens, with experience in AI-driven design and development tools.
- Ability to adjust graphics and create/optimize graphics assets as needed to complete designs, with experience in AI-powered design tools.
- Aptitude to understand and build SEO/semantic solutions, with experience in AI-driven design and development tools.
- Understanding of iconography and SVG graphics, with experience in AI-powered design systems and tools.
- Ability to implement animation, with experience in AI-driven design and development tools.
