About the Job

Set the strategic vision for Consumer Identity as a globally scalable platform, developing today’s authentication space into a cohesive, consumer-focused value proposition.

Identify opportunities, partner to identify ROI, and prioritize initiatives to develop a roadmap that delivers on that vision.

Ensure the roadmap includes technical health and scalability.

Represent the team in reviews with partners and senior company leaders.

Build understanding across a wide group of partners in support of your vision.

Build relationships with external partners and vendors to support our vision and roadmaps, including managing the selection of solutions through the RFP process.

Partner with Commercial, Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, Fraud Prevention & Privacy teams in translating commercial goals and the platform vision.

Be an agent of change and solutions promoter within and outside your team by challenging the status quo and embracing new methodologies towards better outcomes.

Model Technical Execution & Delivery

Work with engineering teams to design, implement, and improve Identity APIs, authentication flows, and login and sign-up experiences.

Ensure our Identity platform follows best practices for security, performance, compliance (GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2), and resilience.

Help define and influence the system design and domain model across consumer profile, loyalty, order management and third-party authentication provider and the Identity domain events.

Metric-driven decision-making: define goals around authentication success rates, fraud detection, and user friction points; benchmark LS&CO capabilities vs. industry trends and best practices.
About You
-
7+ years of experience as a technical product manager
-
Subject matter expertise in:
-
Consumer identity and authentication, including identity protocols (OIDC, OAuth and SAML),
-
Step-up best practices and technologies (FIDO, OAuth Step Up Standard, Passwordless Login)
-
CIAM/IAM systems and architectures
-
Consumer privacy compliance and best practices.

Deployed SME with agility to make impact:

Code-switch between commercial and technical topics, teams, priorities and requirements, to align strategy and create value across both streams.

Understand and can discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.

Use data to back up assumptions, recommendations, and facilitate action.

Led up, down & across:
-
Managed teams to deliver products and projects.

Communicated & influenced audiences at all levels of the organization, from product and platform teams to executives.
This is remote or hybrid eligible. Hybrid positions are based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.”))
The expected starting salary range for this role is ($97,800-$147,300) per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
