The Role
The Senior TA Operations Program Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Cedar Talent Acquisition team. This individual will lead the development, optimization, and implementation of scalable recruiting programs based on data-driven insights, process excellence, and change management expertise.
By building strong partnerships across teams and leveraging a variety of TA metrics, you will ensure our hiring practices are efficient, equitable, and aligned with company objectives.
ResponsibilitiesProgram Design and Execution
- Develop, manage, and enhance TA programs, including but not limited to candidate experience, employer branding, interview processes, headcount management, and recruiter enablement.
- Partner with Recruiting, People Business Partners (PBP’s), and business leaders to identify operational gaps and implement solutions that improve recruiting productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline workflows and ensure program adoption across teams.
Change Management
- Develop and execute change management strategies to drive adoption of new processes, tools, and systems across the Talent Acquisition team and broader organization.
- Serve as a key communicator and trainer, ensuring stakeholders understand and embrace program objectives and updates.
- Proactively identify and address resistance, frustration, and potential false starts, iterating on change management solutions to ensure successful adoption.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Create, monitor and maintain dashboards (via Gem, Greenhouse, or custom) and reporting frameworks to track recruitment metrics, including candidate experience, time-to-fill, pipeline health, quality of hire, and more.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Build models and forecasts to anticipate future hiring needs and operational demands.
Systems and Tools Optimization
- Partner with recruiting leaders, People leaders and IT teams to evaluate, implement, and optimize Cedar TA tooling. This could include Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM’s, interview scheduling tools, sourcing tools, transcription tools, and other TA technologies.
- Ensure seamless integration of recruiting tools with other HR and business systems to improve data accuracy and user experience.
- Regularly audit systems to maintain data hygiene and improve system usability.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- With support of recruiting Leaders, act as a key liaison between the Talent Acquisition team and partners such as Finance, HR, and hiring managers to align recruiting programs with broader organizational goals.
- Champion a culture of operational excellence and collaboration, serving as a trusted advisor to recruiting leaders.
- Foster relationships with external vendors and partners as needed for program success.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition Operations, preferably in a high-growth tech environment.
- Proven expertise in creating, implementing, and optimizing data-driven recruiting programs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., ideally Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby) and other recruiting technologies (e.g., ideally CRM and data visualization tools such as Gem, sourcing tools).
- Demonstrated success in leading change management efforts, including planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Compensation Range and Benefits
- Salary/Hourly Rate Range*: $170,000 - $200,000
