Job Description

• Perform software design, research, development, programming, testing, and documentation for Public Safety, First Responder, land mobile radio (LMR) systems, telecom radio systems, cloud infrastructure, cloud gateway, applications, and selection of operating systems/hardware with equipment design and developments.
• Design and development of Push-to-Talk (PTT) solutions, Mission Critical Infrastructure server components, and product components, ensuring seamless integration and operation with LMR, Broadband, ASTRO, and Dimetra systems.
• Design and develop proprietary LMR systems, including device and system configurations, talk groups, and Push-to-Talk products.
• Engage in modeling, designing, and coding activities for implementing cloud gateways and communication systems over land mobile radio systems.
• Research, design, and develop encryption mechanisms across third-party systems to ensure secure communication.
• Ensure interoperability with third-party systems and facilitate device voice patching for seamless communication.
• Develop message architecture and cloud infrastructure for intercommunication between various systems.
• Responsible for designing and developing Presence, Location, and messaging services.
• Design and development of Motorola's proprietary edge-device authentication, application software, OS patch, application logs, and security management.
• Develop and integrate Motorola's proprietary unified recorder into the platform agonistic Cloud Infrastructure Engineering ecosystem.
• Responsible for designing and developing an Integrated data analytics platform (IDAP) to perform real- time analysis, issue tracking and alerting, alarm handling, reporting, ETL, and observation based on key performance indicators.
• Responsible for designing and developing PoC (Push to Talk over Cellular) data stream pipeline between IDAP (Integrated data analytics Platform) microservices such as IDAP-Hadoop, IDAP-Elasticsearch, and IDAP-Web Services.
• Develop tools utilizing Big Data, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence to analyze traffic flow patterns and detect anomalies within public safety and mission-critical telecommunication systems.
• Responsible for designing and developing Broadband device notifications using Cloud Push notification services.
• Design and develop Broadband Devices such as IOS and Android build upgrades and event monitoring.
• Responsible for the design and development of DRX (Discontinuous Reception) adaptive call prediction based on calls and time-series analysis.
• Responsible for involvement in various databases schema design and deployments such as Distributed databases, NoSQL databases, Relations databases, and in-memory databases.
• Responsible for the design & development of zero-downtime system upgrades, patch upgrades, Bug fixing, and customer interaction.
• Analyze software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within quality assurance, time, and cost constraints.

Target Base Salary Range: $149,781 - $166,200 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
