Department OverviewThe Video and Software group delivers solutions to the public safety sector. The group is committed to providing technology and tools which will allow customers to focus on their mission, and enable them to respond faster with smarter and safer decisions. Our group deploys and supports products such as Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management Systems (RMS), Jail Management Systems and Mobile Data Computing, among other offerings. The Flex DEVOPS team is responsible for the whole CI/CD process and for keeping test servers in a good state.
Job Description

This Senior DEVOPS Engineer is a member of the Flex DEVOPS team. In general, oversees the CI/CD process to ensure it runs smoothly and, in particular, keeps the main tool, TeamCity, working well. Monitors the build servers and troubleshoots them when needed. Interfaces with all development teams to solve build issues.

Basic Requirements

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.

Effective communication in English (joining an international team).

Overall 6+ years of experience in software development and/or with IT services.

English proficiency (will use 90% of the time)

Good communication and proactivity skills

Specific Qualifications

CI/CD with TeamCity, Jenkins, Ansible or any other tool

Linux (Red Hat preferred) and Windows licenses and maintenance proficiency

Virtualization with VMWare, Openshift, Hyper-V or any other tool.

Build maintenance (Artifactory preferred)

Familiar with Containers and Cloud solutions.

Ability to write scripts with Ansible or using languages like Pearl and Python.

Knowledge a programming language, like C#, Java or another
