Position Summary:

First and foremost, we are here to improve the stability and performance of the environment – identify and drive architecture, infrastructure, middleware and coding improvements

Work with internal groups such as Product Engineering, Tools and QA to adopt SRE best practices

Data! Data! Data? - Are you able to take in multiple data streams and make sense of it? Do you know how to turn “data” into “information” and more importantly into “action”?

There’s a Better Path – Can you look at an architecture, process, or application flow and see a more stable, standard, or optimized way to accomplish the same thing? Do you ask “why” when a request doesn’t sound right? Do you see problems and immediately want to fix them? Can you find ways to quantify and prioritize these improvements?

Roll Up Your Sleeves – Can you jump into a foreign problem space and attack a problem, can you run it down until the problem is solved? Do you have to know why something isn’t working the way it should?

Experience of designing, optimizing and troubleshooting large, complex application stacks

Salary: $115K - $145K + Bonus
