Job Description
Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer
Department & Team: Work Automation
Location: Galway

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Work Automation team, you will design and develop top-tier user interfaces, driving key features of our Genesys Cloud CX product roadmap using cutting-edge technologies to build solutions and collaborate in the fast Agile team.

You’ll work closely with our Product Management team on feature requirements and our UX team on transforming wireframes into efficient, scalable, and secure enterprise applications using Angular.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality frontend software. 

  •  Collaborate with the UX team to create visually engaging interfaces. 

  •  Mentor junior engineers, promoting best practices and driving team velocity. 

  •  Participate in code reviews and contribute to system architecture discussions. 

  •  Champion agile methodologies, design patterns, and secure coding practices. Active participation in all team meetings including Sprint planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint review and Sprint retrospectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s is a plus). 

  •  4+ years of experience in front-end development, with strong expertise in Angular, React, or Vue.

  •  Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket) and using REST APIs. 

  •  Strong communication and collaboration skills in global, cross-functional teams. 

  •  A proactive, growth mindset with adaptability to evolving technologies. 

  • Good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
