Key Responsibilities
- Work with software teams to understand product specifications, features, and functionality.
- Analyze and identify suitable opportunities for test automation.
- Develop automation components/modules using appropriate tools and programming languages.
- Execute and manage automated test scripts/cases, logging and addressing identified issues.
- Monitor automated tests and test results to identify and report on defects.
- Integrate test automation with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery.
- Be an active participant in program increment (PI) planning, supporting test automation solution planning and estimation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 10 year's experience as an automated test engineer with programming skills in common languages, such as Java and Ruby.
- Experience designing, creating and executing automated tests via scripts using tools such as Selenium and Cucumber, Cypress is a plus.
- Experience in prioritizing test cases for critical features, create test scenarios & execution plans, and document automated test processes.
- Experience with the software development life cycle and automated testingExperience with API testing.
- Clear understanding of QA Best Practices Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®).
- Must live in the Continental US.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Depending on government agency, specific requirements may include residency, citizenship, Public Trust background checks, or security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Past development experience, specifically web application development.
- Experience at CMS or in the healthcare industry.
- Previous public sector consulting experience and understanding customer needs.
- 508 compliance experience.
- Experience conducting automation tools analysis, selection, and recommendation.
- Experience developing automation frameworks that are leveraged across multiple projects / resources.
