The business’s comprehensive portfolio includes power transformers, traction transformers, insulation and components, digital sensors, and transformer services. The Company’s transformers have been deployed across power generation, transmission, and distribution to metals and mining, oil and gas, commercial and infrastructure projects, and mobility. As the grid becomes more complex, the transformers play an increasingly vital role in improving power quality and network management. Mission Statement: General Sales & Marketing work focuses on a combination of general sales and marketing work including: Face-to-face and/or remote sales to new or existing customers. Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and/or solutions. Planning, developing, and delivering the marketing strategy for products/services and associated brand(s). Evaluating, measuring, and managing the product/brand P&L (e.g., budgeting, expenditures, profitability, return-on-investment, etc.) Incumbents in this specialization may also provide customer service and support in the form of information on product/price and resolution to issues related to billing, shipping, delivery, complaints, etc. Incumbents matching to this specialization are compensated based on achievement of sales targets. A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

Your responsibilities

  • You implement the local go-to-market product marketing and sales strategy

  • You analyze project-specific customer requirements and prepare a technical and commercial proposal

  • You contribute to the achievement of product marketing and sales objectives and budgets through regular monitoring, definition and implementation of improvement plans

  • You execute the annual marketing and sales plan in collaboration with the relevant business units.

  • You coordinate market and sales analysis, evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data and prepare appropriate forecasts and Sales plan.

  • You monitor sales execution for assigned products, act as a key point of contact for the customer and as an escalation point for issues within the project

  • You build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • You increase sales efficiency by providing appropriate product knowledge information and training to customers.

  • Collaboration with overseas Factories to support customers on demand side

  • Supporting customers for Competitive Product portfolio selection and actively contribute to technical discussions.

  • Hands on experience in B2B selling of Transformers Insulation and Components, High Voltage equipment’s/Switchgears etc.

  • Working experience in Transformer Industry would be an added advantage.

  • Responsible for End user approvals.

Your background

  • Graduate/Master’s in Electrical/Power Electronics Engineering.

  • 7-10 Years of Total Experience. Relevant of 2-3 years in Transformer/power equipment B2B sales.

  • Technical understanding and basic knowledge in the field of Transformers/Power Components

  • Travelling experience across India and Overseas would be added advantage

  • 25-35% of Business Travel/meeting customers in different geography.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
