We are actively seeking a Sr. Product Manager, Rimini Support. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere is the U.S.

Position Summary

As the Sr. Product Manager, Rimini Support, you will define the strategy and product requirements of our entire Support Services offering that align closely to the client’s needs, market dynamics, and competitive landscape and then make sure they fit into Rimini Street's business model.

In addition to our Clients and Prospects, you will collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Service Delivery to gather requirements and insights then develop overall product strategy, positioning, target customer and benefits. You will also collaborate closely with product marketing on an ongoing basis to define comprehensive go-to-market plans to achieve lead, pipeline, sales and renewal targets.

You will own the Support Services product roadmap for Rimini Street and its successful execution. The roadmap must deliver value with each iteration and take into account the short-term, mid-term, and long-term strategic opportunities for the company. The roadmap is not a static document it must evolve based on market dynamics, competitive behavior, and the overall Rimini Streets company strategy. To build the roadmap you will work with external analysts, internal stakeholders, clients, and prospects to identify and prioritize high ROI projects that will move the Support business forward.

You will act as a thought leader both internally and externally for Rimini Street’s Support Services offering.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a master of product strategy, including pricing, market sizing, packing, and promotion. You will also deploy your tactical skills to take advantage of near-term revenue opportunities that further the organisation's long-term goals. 

This position reports to the Vice President, Product Strategy, Unified Software Services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy development, business case, buildout, and launch of Rimini Support Services.
  • Incubate pilot products, identifying, and analyzing key business metrics to uncover reasons for success, reasons for obstacles, and deliver needed enhancements
  • Build product and engagement strategies to align with corporate sales and marketing efforts
  • Identify product bundles suitable for Rimini prospects and clients, to deliver scalable solutions and strong long-term value
  • Manage the business metrics for your product/service area and collaborate across the organization to ensure business targets are met
  • Develop and present regular updates to top executives - including our CEO
  • Lead brainstorming & collaborative problem-solving sessions with Marketing, Service Delivery, Sales and others to finalize product concept, features/functionality and successfully implement
  • Keep a close check on the pulse of the IT Support and Services by performing comprehensive market research, defining the landscape of existing and emerging applications and tactics
  • Build strong product narratives and value propositions
  • Engage and partner with regional and market leadership to build and deliver on a strong market engagement strategy.
  • Provide thought leadership to peers and senior leadership across the organization to influence product roadmaps and new product development
  • Your success will be measured on the growth of Sales, Leads, Pipeline, Customer Satisfaction and Retention
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, opportunities, and trends in the support services industry
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the product team, encouraging new ideas and feedback from team members and customers

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, Masters or MBA desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Location

  • Remote - U.S. 

Experience

  • 7+ years of product management experience within the technology, enterprise software markets and managed services companies

Skills

  • Expert in product strategy and management across the enterprise IT space, including pricing, market sizing, packing, and promotion
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP and Vmware software is very helpful
  • Experience with TL&R solutions globally
  • Strong track record of influencing colleagues and executives
  • Ability to develop simple solutions and guide your team to be more effective and productive
  • Outstanding data analysis skills and knowledge to make data-driven business decisions
  • Experienced working with sales leadership and field sales to support and enhance the overall sales process
  • Excellent oral/public speaking and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information and concepts across a variety of audiences
  • Experience working with remote teams is a plus
  • Experience in a matrixed organization is a plus
  • Previous entrepreneurial / startup experience a plus
  • Experience with Monitoring Solutions

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience.

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 123k - 154k depending on skills and experience.
