Lytx has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Product Manager – Device Platform. This team is responsible for the developer tools, cloud services, and robust device capabilities that provide the foundations for MV+AI & run-time applications on Lytx & Surfsight Devices. Using these capabilities Lytx Safety, Fleet Management, and Partner teams easily develop, configure, run, and monitor advanced MV+AI solutions on 1 to many devices, across 1 to many customer fleets.  

As a product leader on the Device Platform team, your mission will be to lead the evolution of a core platform area to support our aggressive innovation & growth goals while safeguarding the value, quality & stability of Lytx customer solutions & devices.

You will be empowered to define the vision and strategy for your area, chart iterations through active experimentation, and to implement in collaboration with your product team. The success of your efforts will be measured and managed through assigned objectives and key results.

You’ll Get To: 

  • Define and implement the product vision and strategy for your platform area

  • Engage with customers and develop a clear understanding of their needs, goals and challenges. 

  • Use product discovery techniques to test assumptions and validate solution approaches. 

  • Develop thoughtful, complete and prioritized stories in an Agile backlog. 

  • Collaborate with engineering and UX teammates to craft effective sprint iterations that support rapid iterations of value delivery & learning. 

  • Engage with the Lytx organization as a clear leader and evangelist, effortlessly championing your product value proposition, use cases, and wins across the lifecycle. 

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop relevant marketing, training, and launch readiness materials.

  • Use objectives and key results to prioritize, measure and manage performance 

  • Partner with sales to support customer retention, wins and critical issues. 

What You Need:  

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated experience leading B2B, Platform, IoT, or SaaS products across product lifecycles 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, Computer Science, or Engineering-related subject area. 

  • Natural problem-solving focus with a strong ability to analyze, interpret and present data 

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment 

  • Familiarity with tools including JIRA, Confluence, Miro and Asana. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Advanced storytelling and presentation capabilities, including to executive audiences 

  • Highly collaborative nature, with experience working cross-functionally in multiple environments

  • Proven track record to balance multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Experience working on AI-enabled or Developer-focused Products  

  • MBA or Advanced Technical Degree 

  • Experience working in the Transportation industry

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is:

$132,500.00 - $167,500.00
