Job Description
[Albemarle] is hiring for a [Process Engineering Engineer]. This position is, in-office and located in [Taichung, Taiwan].
What You Will Do
- Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for new process/facility design and optimization.
- Collaborate with R&T, manufacturing, project teams and other internal or external stakeholders such as engineering company to develop, reach consensus, and finally to conclude new design of process/facility.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and implementation of new processes, technologies, equipment and facility.
- Analyzing existing process data, and proposing solutions for new process development.
- Management requests of stakeholder such as supply chain, manufacturing, product management, and sales to reach consensus of new process/facility.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements in all process engineering activities.
What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial or similar).
- 5+ years of experience as a process engineering engineer in a manufacturing or project implement environment.
- Knowledge of chemical process.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
- Knowledge of process safety, risk assessment, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in chemical plant, or EPC company with chemical plant construction.
- Strong English capability
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in chemical process engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of PMP.
- Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience of production either process engineer or leading a production team.
