ABOUT THE ROLE:
Aviatrix Routing and Solution Testing Team is a team of QA engineers expanding our presence in Bengaluru. This team plays a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence through rigorous testing and analysis.
We are seeking a motivated Sr MTS SDET to join our Routing, Performance and Scalability. The successful candidate will be deeply involved in conducting tests to evaluate the performance and scalability of network products, specifically within cloud environments. This role demands a strong foundation in networking principles, familiarity with public cloud infrastructures, and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
Location: Aviatrix Systems India Private Limited 02-103, 2nd floor, WeWork Princeville, Embassy Golf Links Business Park Challaghatta, Bengaluru
Work Model: In-Office Preferred (3 days in office)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated performance and scalability tests for new and existing network products.
- Utilize open-source tools, such as iperf, to automate measurement of network performance metrics and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks, test scripts, and related documentation to ensure test coverage and efficiency.
- Continuously improve automation practices to enhance the testing process and product quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a networking-focused role, with a strong grasp of network protocols such as BGP.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Proficient in Linux environments and capable of scripting in Python, Shell, or similar languages.
- Practical automation experience of network performance testing using tools like iperf.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to automate testing across different platforms and products.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
