• 5 to 7 years of experience of functional and Automation experience.
• Good knowledge of Java and VB technologies.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of multiple open source/commercial tools for Web test automation (Selenium/Webdriver, Coded UI, Tosca etc.) and Mobile test automation ( Appium, Robotium, SeeTest, etc and (iOS, Android, and Windows), automation frameworks, Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins) and infrastructure for automation
• Proficient with Rest and SOAP API testing ( RestSharp, or REST-assured) and able to handle XML and JSON files
• Excellent understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies, concepts.
• Identifying and recommending the automated testing processes and tools
• Define and publish key performance metrics for the automated testing
• Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to implement test automation across project teams
• Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework & approach across project teams
• Participate in Design and Architectural reviews of proposed automation solutions across project teams
• Evaluate and select best usage of test automation tools for different purposes
• Assist engineering management team with the technical presentation of proposed automation solutions
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Education: BE / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent
