As the Associate Creative Director for Yahoo Finance and Yahoo’s B2B initiatives, you will play a crucial role in shaping the creative vision and implementing marketing strategies that elevate these brands across diverse platforms. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Studio, you’ll collaborate closely with the Finance and B2B teams at every stage of project development—from initial strategy and brief creation to the execution of integrated campaigns. Whether working on a new product feature, service, or content series, you’ll dive deep into the details to confidently steer the creative direction, ensuring alignment with Yahoo Finance and B2B objectives. As a player-coach, you will lead by example and roll up your sleeves to support the team whenever needed.
Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership: Lead and inspire the creative team to deliver innovative, high-impact campaigns that align with Yahoo Finance and the B2B strategic goals, ensuring brand consistency and visual excellence.

Campaign Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute campaigns across a variety of channels including digital display, social media, email marketing and more.

Creative Brief Development: Partner with marketers and internal stakeholders to develop clear, actionable creative briefs that are aligned with Yahoo’s business goals and brand objectives.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all creative work upholds the highest standards of excellence, from ideation to execution, and remains on-brand across all deliverables.

Agency Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners, manage project kick-offs, and take responsibility for their success, ensuring all work exceeds expectations.

Trend Monitoring: Stay informed of industry trends, consumer behavior shifts, and emerging technologies to keep Yahoo’s creative direction innovative, forward-thinking, and relevant to today’s audience.

Creative Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality control of all creative outputs, ensuring they meet or exceed Yahoo’s brand guidelines and standards, while driving audience engagement and achieving measurable results.
Qualifications

10+ years of experience in creative leadership driving impactful campaigns across multiple channels.

Proven experience in a creative leadership role within a fast-paced environment, ideally within the Finance and/or B2B sectors.

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful creative campaigns across various channels and formats, with an emphasis on Finance or B2B audiences.

Solid understanding of full-funnel marketing strategies and the ability to create compelling narratives that resonate with Finance and business-focused audiences.

Deep interest in Finance, business, and technology trends, allowing for the creation of timely and engaging content that speaks to the audience.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing external agency partners to drive creative initiatives.

Exceptional project management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Deep knowledge of design principles, branding, and visual storytelling.

Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.).

Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate creative concepts clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.

Analytical mindset, using insights to inform and guide effective creative decisions.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Skilled at building deep partnerships across the business and contributing to strategic planning efforts.

Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field.

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,625.00 - $230,625.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
