The Sr Marketing Coordinator will develop and coordinate marketing campaigns within the insurance industry, track performance, and maintain brand standards. They will provide marketing support for internal business groups and industry events, conduct market research, and maintain social media strategy. They will also build industry-related content, research media trends, and coordinate public relations opportunities. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a creative inclination and an interest in design, content creation, and marketing collateral. While expert-level skills are not required, experience with tools such as Canva and the ability to work within defined templates and brand guidelines to support marketing and sales teams is highly desirable.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to develop and coordinate content development and marketing campaigns within the insurance industry.
- Identify and implement tracking methods for marketing campaigns to monitor performance and success.
- Develop and contribute communication materials, including case studies, newsletters, and content-driven marketing campaigns.
- Understand design and maintain a high level of brand standards.
- Provide marketing support for internal business groups, industry award submissions, and events to support awareness.
- Manage complex projects on time and on budget, delivering transparent communication to stakeholders.
- Market research, monitoring and reacting to news that impacts the industry, especially our specializations.
- Maintain and enhance social media strategy for the brand. Build industry-related content and collateral.
- Assist in the creation and customization of marketing collateral, PowerPoint presentations, and event materials within brand guidelines.
- Support video editing, graphic design, and digital content creation efforts as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Sound knowledge and demonstration of the understanding of key marketing principles and the implementation of marketing strategies
- Excellent copywriting/editing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong project management skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet conflicting timeframes for multiple projects
- Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s culture
- Proficiency with Canva or similar design tools for marketing collateral and social media content
- Basic knowledge or experience in graphic design, video editing, or content creation is a plus
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 3+ years' relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary
- Experience in the insurance business is a plus but not required
