The Senior Manager Product Engineering is responsible for Managing the Sustainment Life Cycle Management Team team covering the sustaining engineering of the Upstream and Fluid Management products within Cytiva, fostering an environment and culture of “Product Quality”.

This position reports to the Director Sustainment Life Cycle Management SUT and is part of the Product Engineering Sustainment Life Cycle Management Team located in Hoegaarden and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

• You will manage a team of Product Engineers overseeing the sustaining engineering of the Product Portfolio, and develop, support, and coach your team members to ensure their continued development
• As the Design Authority of the Product Portfolio of the Business Unit “Upstream & Fluid Management” you will drive Incremental Improvements to the Product Portfolio,  manage Material Changes, Post Launch Sustainment, support VAVE Enablement, Mould Tools and assure consistency for the products and processes;
• You will have a close collaboration with other departments, like product management, supply chain, quality, sales, and operations, to support our customers needs;
• Lead high visibility sustainment projects according to the ‘Management of Change’ processes and manage the timelines, budget and resources;

Who you are:

• You have a Master’s degree and you have experience in a relevant engineering discipline;
• You drive vision and purpose and you have experience of building and developing teams and are capable of managing conflicts and complexity;
• You have the ability to work independently and collaboratively and the capability of building credibility with customers, key opinion leaders, internal stakeholders;
• You have strong problem solving and analytical skills;
• You are skilled in resource management and have ability to prioritize according to the business needs and to meet commited deadlines;

Travel Requirements:

• Ability to travel – approximately 10% travel to other sites or customers.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Working in a highly regulated industry would be an advantage.
