You plan, develop and execute capital projects by supporting technical developments, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in supply chain and capital expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest levels of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You will follow Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and ensure that Mondelēz standards are adhered to.
How you will contribute
To ensure that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are delivered, you will work with key stakeholders to define and deliver the capital and technical agendas during the development phases of capital investment projects. You will develop capital budgets according to the contract and forecast cash flow, ensure that engineering developments and standards are implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices. In this role, you will support capital project execution and will be accountable for the quality and results of the capital projects per Mondelēz standards, and our business and innovation processes in project management.

Verantwoordelijkheden
Als Energy & Sustainability Engineer ben jij de drijvende kracht achter het verduurzamen van onze fabriek. Je ontwikkelt en implementeert een toekomstgerichte energie- en duurzaamheidsstrategie die aansluit op onze langetermijnvisie. Met een analytische blik en hands-on mentaliteit initieer en implementeer je projecten die onze ecologische voetafdruk verkleinen en kosten reduceren. Je bent daarbij het aanspreekpunt voor zowel interne stakeholders als externe partners.

• Ontwikkelen van een geïntegreerde Energy & Sustainability-pijler binnen het industrieel masterplan
• Opzetten van een energiebeheersysteem en implementeren van monitoringtools (energiedashboard)
• Analyseren van energieverbruik, identificeren van verspilling en definiëren van verbeterprojecten
• Uitwerken en uitvoeren van projecten zoals bv. zonnepanelen, laadinfrastructuur en efficiëntie-upgrades
• Onderbouwen van businesscases door middel van rendementsberekeningen en analyses (bv. carbon footprint, CO₂-reductie, etc.), waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van erkende methodes en formules
• Opvolgen van wet- en regelgeving op vlak van energie en milieu en zorgen voor compliance
• Onderzoeken van subsidiemogelijkheden en opstellen van nodige onderbouwde businesscases
• Verhogen van intern bewustzijn rond duurzaamheid en energie
• Samenwerken met technische teams (elektro, thermo, facility) om duurzame oplossingen te integreren
• Uitbouwen van een netwerk binnen de organisatie en externe partners

Ervaring

• Master in Engineering, Energy Management of een gelijkaardig technisch diploma
• Minstens enkele jaren relevante ervaring in energiebeheer, duurzaamheid of industriële engineering
• Sterke affiniteit met duurzame technologieën en industriële processen
• Je kan technische voorstellen omzetten in heldere businesscases met financiële onderbouwing
• Hands-on, oplossingsgericht en in staat om veranderingsprocessen te begeleiden
• Je denkt strategisch, maar handelt pragmatisch
• Communicatief sterk en in staat om verschillende niveaus binnen de organisatie te overtuigen
• Uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands en het Engels, kennis van het Frans is een plus
