Job Requirements
The Sr Human Resources Business Partner position will be responsible for the management of one of the Battery Pack & Advanced Mobility businesses unit with locations in the US, UK, South Africa, and APAC region.
Responsibilities
This Sr Human Resources Business Partner is accountable to multiple sites and a team of HR Professionals to ensure Human Resources services are delivered in a cost-effective and high-quality manner. The role will provide business partnership to the Sr Operations Director and Commercial Directors, as well as oversee all elements of Human Resources and be the main liaison to employees to ensure the business needs are met.
The scope of activities includes workforce planning, talent management, communication, leadership development and learning & development.
The Sr Human Resources Business will be expected to provide guidance and recommendations on diverse and/or complex issues, and ensure compliance based on accurate interpretation of federal, state and local policies and regulations. The expectation of a Sr Human Resources Business Partner is to keep a good relationship with the management and employees to ensure high retention and morale.
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and 8-10 years HR experience; or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field and 6-8 years HR experience
- 3+ years experience working in a large, matrixed manufacturing company
- 2+ years experience with Workday
- Strong negotiation, communication (verbal and written) and coaching skills
- Strong background, understanding and usage of metrics; especially people-related (both qualitative and quantitative)
- Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to guide, performance manage and develop an HR team
- In-depth experience supporting executive leadership with talent assessment and development; especially leadership populations
- High drive for quality results
- Customer-centric approach to business partnership
- Strong attention to detail balanced with an ability to think at a high level (i.e. make meaning out of data and connect dots, think ahead and take proactive action)
- Strong understanding of
- Ability to handle a diverse and heavy workload
- Ability to pivot/adapt quickly when business priorities shift
- Experience with a diverse workforce, i.e. global, hourly, salaried, union

Pay Range: $124,800 - $156,000.00
