About the Role

As the Senior Director of Growth Product, you will lead the strategy and execution of product-driven initiatives that scale CookUnity’s customer base and enhance long-term engagement. You will own the end-to-end customer journey, leveraging data and insights to optimize acquisition funnels, onboarding flows, and user activation. This role requires a product-first mindset, integrating growth tactics directly into the platform to drive sustainable and efficient customer acquisition while enhancing retention and lifetime value.

You will oversee critical growth areas, including First Impressions, Funnel Optimization, and Customer Activation, while fostering cross-functional collaboration with Product, Tech, Design, and Marketing teams. Reporting directly to the SVP of Growth, you will shape CookUnity’s product vision and position the company as the leading chef-driven dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Product-Led Growth Strategy: Establish and execute a product portfolio strategy to scale user acquisition and onboarding, balancing customer and business needs while ensuring efficient CACs and enhanced retention.
  • Build Shared Vision: Align cross-functional teams on a unified growth strategy, securing resources and overcoming impediments to deliver on business goals.
  • End-to-End Journey Optimization: Own and improve the entire user journey, from first interaction to onboarding and first delivery, driving conversion and fostering customer loyalty.
  • Data-Driven Experimentation: Design and manage experimentation frameworks to test and iterate on product features that drive engagement and adoption.
  • Conversion and Onboarding Excellence: Optimize landing pages, conversion funnels, and onboarding flows to deliver personalized, frictionless user experiences.
  • Growth Insights and Roadmap: Leverage data on customer behavior and performance to define a strategic growth roadmap, addressing bottlenecks and scaling opportunities.
  • Supply-Demand Optimization: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that balance supply and demand, enhancing value for both customers and chefs.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and results-driven execution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with CRM, Design, Tech, and Product teams to align growth initiatives with the broader product roadmap.
  • Customer Segmentation Strategy: Develop and refine segmentation approaches to tailor experiences for diverse customer groups and maximize lifetime value.

Qualifications

  • 14+ years of experience in product management or growth-focused roles, ideally within a DTC or e-commerce context.
  • Proven ability to integrate growth strategies into product experiences, with expertise in funnel optimization, onboarding, and engagement.
  • Experience influencing senior management and driving major cross-functional initiatives to completion.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to inform product development and experimentation.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling product-driven growth systems in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks, customer segmentation, and LTV/CAC optimization techniques.
  • Experience representing product areas in customer-facing forums, including conferences and industry events.
  • Design Thinking, Agile, or Product Management certifications preferred.

CompensationAll final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
