We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our mobile platform team at Blue Yonder a leading supply chain solutions provider. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize mobile applications for iOS and Android, focusing on improving logistics, inventory management, and overall supply chain operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead mobile development initiatives, and implement best practices for building high-performance, scalable apps. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in mobile technologies (Flutter, React Native, Swift, Kotlin) and a strong understanding of supply chain processes.

What you'll do :

  • Mobile Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android using the latest frameworks and technologies (e.g., Flutter, React Native, Swift, Kotlin).

  • Supply Chain Focused Solutions: Build user-friendly, efficient, and feature-rich mobile applications for logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations, shipment tracking, and other supply chain functions.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of mobile apps with backend systems and third-party APIs.

  • Continuous Improvement: Keep up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in mobile development and supply chain technology, and apply them to improve app performance, security, and functionality.

  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and company standards. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration processes.

  • User Experience: Ensure that applications provide a superior user experience, with a focus on performance, responsiveness, and intuitive interfaces tailored for supply chain professionals.

  • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Monitor app performance and resolve any issues or bugs in a timely manner. Proactively optimize for speed, reliability, and scalability.

Who you are :

  • Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience in mobile application development.
    • Strong proficiency in at least one of the following frameworks: Flutter, React Native, Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android).
    • Familiarity with mobile CI/CD processes, version control (Git), and deployment workflows (App Store, Google Play).
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Operations:

    • Experience working in or with supply chain, logistics, or enterprise-level applications is a plus.
    • Understanding of key supply chain functions such as inventory management, shipment tracking, order fulfillment, and warehouse management.
  • Backend Integration:

    • Experience working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or similar backend technologies to integrate mobile applications with backend systems and databases.
  • UI/UX:

    • Ability to work with UI/UX designers to create attractive and functional designs that meet user needs in the supply chain industry.
  • Cross-Platform Development:

    • Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native) to build apps for both iOS and Android.
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:

    • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    • Attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in developing and deploying enterprise-scale mobile apps.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and their mobile app integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with tools such as Firebase, Google Maps API, and real-time data handling (WebSockets, MQTT).

The salary range for this position is: USD $99,207.62 – $143,896.18

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
