Our Communications & Content Team for Absolut brand is looking for a Senior Brand Manager Social Media for 12 months to help the Director Global Comms & Content and team to bridge the specialization of the Functions, in order to improve integration across each area of expertise – from Communications to Digital Content, to Experiences, to Licensing and Collaborations.
Beyond integration specifically, the secondary purpose of this role is to increase the creative height across all disciplines, and by doing so, maximize the impact the brand will have with consumers. With this desired effect, it will also bring visibility and celebration by winning awards in the creative industry – like it had 30 years ago.
In this role you will:
- Support the Director Global Comms & Content & team in the following, for all of Absolut’s brand and product storytelling, which includes:
- Overall Communications Planning (Long Term + Short Term),
- Social Content Strategy (includes Community Management),
- Creative Concepts, Monthly Calendar Planning
- Trends and data tracking and reporting
- Digital Content Production
- Liaise with our external for Agency partners on the above, and help manage ongoing project management (including budget tracking), Influencer management and End of year performance assessment.
- A critical point of contact with the In-House Studio:
- From ATL to BTL, ensure visibility on Absolut FY initiatives that will allow us to act nimbly and effectively for the appropriate projects.
- Help the Marketing Manager “PR” our brand and product efforts, to ensure internal visibility of the creative content within the Pernod Ricard – from myPortal, to leadership support of key initiatives.
- You will also need to connect with and support the Absolut drive market Creative Content partners for market specific needs.
- Support the Marketing Manager in providing Digital Content POV on the Strategic Brand Plan with Brand Strategy, as well as the FY Budget Plan.
- Drive project management and budget tracking responsibilities for all other projects not listed above.
ABOUT YOU
You are a senior and experienced creative person with a strategic and innovative mindset - you can see ahead to future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies. You will support the director of Global Comms & Content to elevate creative boldness by nurturing bold ideas. You have a strong digital acumen and are a tech-savvy person.
The role requires a deep cultural understanding, always being at the forefront of popular and social culture where the target audience acts and lives.
You will need to be highly effective in Agency and Project Management / Budget Management, and used to work in cross-functional collaboration and have experience in managing complex internal stakeholders and in managing expectations across different markets around the globe.
Academic (Qualifications) & Professional Experience:
- University degree in business/marketing
- Minimum of 8 years marketing experience ideally within globally managed business – from major FMCG companies, spirits, car industry, fashion industry, luxury goods or leading global brands such as Apple, Google.
- Digital agency experience is mandatory, as an Account leader or Producer.
- International experience highly desirable.
- Must be fluent in English, other languages can be beneficial
