What does a day in the life of a Sr System Analyst look like?
The Sr. System Analyst of Systems oversee implementing and analyzing complex systems within Infor WMS for Saddle Creek associates within a thriving warehouse, start-up location, campus, or region. As a Sr. System Analyst, you will serve as a guide to other system analysts on the team. Day to day activities include working with associates to diagnose program issues, resolve user issues, planning development, testing, working with vendors, reporting progress to manager, and working with other teams within IS.
As our new Sr System Analyst, you will report to the Director of Systems and work directly with corporate information services (IS) to complete or lead tactical and strategic initiatives. You get to support application upgrades and business go-lives at your location with the assistance of the SME teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provides specialized Warehouse Management System support to users and customers
- Utilizes the following systems: Infor WMS, Yardview, MicroStrategy, Nice Label
- Defines application problems by conferring with business, evaluating procedures and processes
- Develops solutions by preparing documentation and evaluating alternative solutions to gain approval across business
- Test system functionality through writing and performing test scripts
- Supports business by training and providing support to drive best practices
- Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed
- Responsible for playing a key role in interacting with other enterprise systems to drive design and develop system improvements
- Effectively communicates project status reports including foreseen obstacles and restraints to team members and stakeholders
- Will be required to partake in on-call rotation

Must Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required. Advanced degrees(s) are a plus
- At least 6 years of experience working within Information Services or equivalent systems experience
- At least 3 years of experience working with a top tier warehouse management system such as Infor, Softeon, Blue Yonder, Korber, Manhattan Associates, etc
- Experience training end users on system functionality
- Proficient writing queries to retrieve, update and manage data using SQL
- Be willing to travel for business up to 20 % of the time
- Recognize problems and implement systems-based solutions
- Strong critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills
- Have ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies and development processes
- Perform as an effective contributor in a team-oriented environment and accomplish desired results with a high degree of quality
- Be customer focused and possess a high degree of integrity and trust
- Be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Business experience in the supply chain industry and multiple industry verticals
- Familiarity with web servers including, but not limited to, IIS and Apache
- Experience in coding using .NET languages (C#, VB, .NET)
- Understanding of APIs and Web Services
- Software consulting experience
