About the RoleIn this role, you will independently manage Athleta’s store expenses as well as support store reporting and performance analysis. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting and analysis of store operating expenses. In a highly visible capacity, you will effectively communicate results to Store Operations and the Field Leadership team to enhance and enable decision making. This role is critical to the success of our stores so we are looking for an individual who is extremely analytical and super attentive to detail, a strong relationship builder, and motivated to drive results.What You'll Do

Effectively manage and analyze store payroll expenses for Athleta, including the development and communication of expense forecasts to store leadership and internal finance partners

Partner with Store Operations and central business teams to develop the annual budget and long-range plans for store expenses, aligning with Athleta’s strategic priorities

Prepare and present dynamic, data-driven updates to broader stores team, highlighting progress, showcasing enhancements, and communicating key milestones

Engage cross-functional business leads to support and analyze various store related initiatives

Identify key drivers of store operating expense variability and proactively develop recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities to enhance store productivity

Minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance or related fields, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility

Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, MBA a plus

Experience with a large high growth consumer company a plus

eCommerce/Omnichannel or apparel experience a plus

Knowledge of Oracle financial systems and Essbase/Hyperion is a plus
