In the Sr Advisor Lands & ROW role, you will provide Lands & Right-of-Way (ROW) support and advisor services to regional offshore pipeline and facility operations teams. Additionally, accountable as the Land and Permitting lead for Offshore operation pipeline projects requiring permits to modify, upgrade and repair existing pipelines and platforms on the Outer Continental Shelf, Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean.

What You Will Do:

Accountable to provide Lands & ROW support services for the ongoing pipeline operations and maintenance activities within the region
-
Accountable for technical work related to obtaining permitting approvals for modifications, decommissioning, or relinquishing various offshore assets, negotiating damage claims, and/or facilitating crossing agreements.

Responsible for submitting and securing approvals from Federal and State agencies such as the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), and the Louisiana DNR (Coastal Zone Management) for Enbridge’s pipelines.

Coordination of right-of-way activities in compliance with State/Federal Laws, Acts, Codes, Regulations and Enbridge policies and procedures.

Prepare, record and ensure regulatory compliance on land related legal interests, such as surface and sub-surface leases, easements, permits, and construction related agreements with stakeholders and third party companies.

Responsible to support the research, development, revision, proofreading and commissioning of right-of-way related legal documents and miscellaneous assignments as required.

Responsible for handling all encroachments for Enbridge’s offshore assets and serves as primary contact for third party issues

Coordinate land activities with various internal and external stakeholder groups such as Operations, Projects, Law, Environment, Public Affairs, and Regulatory,

Coordinates with Engineering and Law to monitor land contracts and work authorizations

Maintains required security and confidentiality of information created or encountered in the performance of duties
Who You Are:
You have the following education & experience:
-
Related university degree, diploma, or professional land certification. For candidates who do not possess a University degree, an additional 3-years of related experience is required; For candidates who do not possess a technical diploma, an additional 2-years of related experience is required.

6 or more years of directly related experience.

Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize workload to meet deadlines, stakeholder demands and regulatory requirements.

Requires a high level of interpersonal skills and initiative in dealing with a variety of external and internal customers (regulators, lawyers, industry, government, landowners and internal departments), and approaches interactions with a customer service mentality.

Effective verbal and written communications skills - ability to communicate technical and non-technical information to all audiences.

High proficiency with business software applications including Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Development.
