Job Summary
The Talent Sourcing Specialist is responsible for building and managing a robust candidate pipeline by implementing strategic sourcing methods. This role will focus on actively identifying, engaging, and building relationships with passive and active talent, ensuring a continuous supply of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs. You will collaborate with Recruiters, hiring leaders, and external partners to attract a diverse range of top-tier candidates, with a particular focus on proactive outreach and relationship building.
Essential Functions

  • Build and maintain professional networks relevant to commonly hired roles, leveraging both online platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, industry-specific job boards) and virtual or in-person events.
  • Drive passive talent into a talent pool by building relationships and nurturing long-term candidate engagement through outreach strategies, including email campaigns, social media, and networking.
  • Actively search and identify potential candidates by sourcing through resume databases, social media platforms, and job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, niche industry sites) to find candidates who align with job requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Recruiters to understand and refine candidate profiles, ensuring targeted sourcing efforts are focused on specific qualifications and skills.
  • Build and maintain relationships with colleges, community partners, and professional organizations that align with the target candidate profiles, facilitating campus recruiting and professional development programs.
  • Proactively engage with hiring leaders to understand the evolving needs of the business and recommend strategies for sourcing top talent in key areas.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by showcasing the company's values, culture, and opportunities to attract high-quality candidates and enhance employer brand reputation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring compliance with data tracking and reporting protocols.
  • Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives by sourcing candidates from diverse backgrounds and implementing strategies to meet organizational DEI goals.
  • Analyze and report on sourcing metrics and trends, continuously improving sourcing strategies and sharing insights with the recruitment team to optimize outcomes.
  • Participate in recruitment events, including career fairs and professional networking events, to increase brand visibility and create new candidate relationships.
  • Collaborate with the broader talent acquisition team to identify sourcing best practices, refine recruitment strategies, and enhance team effectiveness.

Required Qualifications for Position

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of recruiting or sourcing experience, with a focus on sourcing, candidate engagement, and pipeline management across a variety of roles
  • 1-3 years Experience in identifying and engaging passive candidates through proactive sourcing methods
  • Strong ability to meet sourcing goals and build a diverse, qualified pipeline for current and future hiring needs
  • Proven success in utilizing resume databases, job boards, social media platforms, and referral programs to identify and attract top talent
  • Ability to leverage Recruiters’ candidate profiles and job requirements to target specific candidates
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage candidates, provide feedback, and influence stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleges, community partners, and professional organizations to support recruitment efforts
  • Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Workday), and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of labor market trends and DEI principles
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (25-30%)

Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years Experience using Workday or similar Applicant Tracking System
  • 1-3 years Experience with social media recruiting tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter and niche industry-specific platforms
  • 1-3 years Demonstrated experience in sourcing for hard-to-fill or specialized roles
  • 1-3 years' Experience working with college recruiting programs or building partnerships with academic institutions and professional associations

Salary Range*:

$52,400.00 - $73,300.00

*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
